About Indo-American Fair

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we are organizing Sixth Grand Indo-American Fair on August 30th & 31st, 2008 - the Biggest and the best festival for people of South Asian descent at Mercer County Park, Mercer County, NJ. Last year more than 75,000 people attended and enjoyed the fair.

Indo-American Fair is primarily organized to spread and share the art, culture and heritage of India amongst our American friends and other local and regional communities in the State of New Jersey. The platform of the Fair also serves New Jersey artists in particular and others in general to present their work. We are promoting a number of NJ artists, art schools in NJ, and rendering them opportunities to perform on stage and display their presentation of work without any monetary consideration. In the nutshell, the crux of the fair is to promote the cultural diversity and expand cultural participation of different communities.

In view of the many facets of the Fair and presentation of varied art and culture activities during the festival, the Fair has essentially prompted the responsiveness of the needs of local, regional, and other communities seeing the influx to the Fair from 10,000 in 2003 to 75,000 people in 2007 and more.Hence Indo American Fair has established itself as the premier cultural entity in NJ among the community over the years. It has been the endeavor of the organizers to emphasize on vendors to display and present such artistic quality items as are generally accepted and likened by the public in the spirit of the festival.

We must say that it has always been our endeavor and effort since inception to reach as many people as possible and share the wonderful world of art, culture and heritage of India with different communities over here. To make it more popular we take the help of local and national Newspapers and target other sources including advertising on TV, Radios and posting of flyers at key positions all over New Jersey to reach and benefit more diverse audiences to make the Fair successful.

We are expecting vendors from many States including Georgia, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Long Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Canada to participate and display their various articles of arts, handicrafts, costume jewelry, ethnic dresses, paintings (both contemporary and traditional) and so on.

In view of the above, we invite all of you to be part of the celebrations and show your support to the community and send message at the same time.
